Local groundwater supplies
The original drought FAQ describes three basins supplying Riverside:
- Bunker Hill Basin, in the San Bernardino area.
- Rialto-Colton Basin, in the Colton area.
- Riverside Basin.
The brochure explains why groundwater reserves and conservation both matter. Reduced rainfall can affect replenishment even when stored supplies help meet immediate needs.
